Daniel Kirk is an emerging artist from Calgary, Alberta. He graduated from the University of Calgary in 2007 whereby he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts, specializing in painting. Daniel has been pursuing a career as an artist, exhibiting his work in a variety of venues including: The Nickle Arts Museum, TRUCK Gallery, Art Life Gallery, The Little Gallery and Art Spot. His work has been included in many group shows as well as a number of solo exhibitions and his mural pieces can be found throughout Calgary and in parts of Central America. Recently, Daniel was featured in ATBT magazine and was accepted to be part of a residency program at the Vermont Studio Center in 2010.
